Volunteer work has been an important part of Michael Shelton’s life alongside his professional engineering career. Whether helping guide new engineering graduates or spending time with individuals in need of companionship and care, his volunteer efforts are grounded in respect, responsibility, and a desire to make a meaningful difference. New Graduate Mentoring Program

Mentoring new grads on advanced technology, engineering ethics, professionalism and career goal realization (ongoing). Two hours each week, instructor-led online instruction.

New Hope Nursing Home (Georgetown, TX)

Weekly two-hour personal one-on-one visits for camaraderie and friendship.
Assist in meeting daily needs of special people.
